Due to the warm weather and rain from last week, we are trying to get caught up with all the mowing on the golf course. This week, fairways and approaches will be mowed at least three times. We have also just started mowing rough. We know that the grass is long, and that there are grass clippings EVERYWHERE! We apologize for the inconvenience, and ask for your patience while we get caught up.

Yesterdays rain left much of the golf course with standing water

We received 2.46" of rain yesterday, flooding several areas and holes on the golf course. When we get that much rain in a short period of time our drainage system cannot keep up with that amount of water. As the day goes on the water begins to recede, staff then puts pumps in key areas to move the water a little faster. The golf course will be pretty damp and wet today but much of the standing water has been removed from the playing surfaces.

After receiving just under 2.5" of rain last night the course will be closed until further notice. We will reevaluate at 12:00 p.m.
